1. Overview
Your privacy matters to us. Holistical is designed to be a private, personal space for relaxation and wellbeing. You do not need to create an account, sign in, or provide your email to use the app. We do not operate user profiles, and we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
This policy explains, clearly and honestly, what the app does and does not do with data.
2. Information stored on your device
The following is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to us:
- Your first name or chosen name (used only to personalize the app on your screen)
- Your reflection and journal notes
- Mood entries, completed session counts, and streaks
- Mandalas you create
You remain in control of this content. You can permanently erase all of it at any time using “Reset progress” in Settings.
3. Audio streaming and caching
To deliver guided meditations, soundscapes, and other audio, the app streams audio files from a secure content delivery network (Cloudflare). After the first play, audio may be cached on your device so it plays smoothly and works offline thereafter.
Fetching audio involves a standard network request. This request does not include your name, journal entries, or other personal content. Like any internet request, your device’s IP address is processed by the content delivery network solely to deliver the file; it is not used by us to identify or track you.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Holistical offers an optional Premium subscription. Google Play Billing processes all payments and subscriptions. We never receive or store your payment card details. Google processes your payment and provides us only with your subscription status (active or not) so the app can unlock Premium features.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
5. Permissions
- Network access is used to stream audio and to process subscriptions through Google Play.
- Notifications (optional) are used only if you choose to enable daily practice reminders. You can disable them at any time.
The app does not access your photos, location, contacts, microphone, or calendar.
6. No advertising or third-party analytics
Holistical does not display ads and does not include advertising or analytics trackers that profile you. We do not use advertising identifiers.
7. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws)
Because your personal content is stored on your device rather than on our servers, you hold direct control over it. You may erase all locally stored data at any time using “Reset progress” in Settings. For subscription data held by Google, you may exercise your rights through your Google account and Google’s privacy tools.
8. Children
Holistical is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
9. Medical disclaimer
The audio, Solfeggio frequencies, mindfulness exercises, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) content are intended for relaxation and general well-being support. They are not medical, psychological, diagnostic, or clinical tools, and are not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical or mental health needs.
10. Intellectual property
The Holistical name, content, original audio, frequency compositions, and mandala designs are the intellectual property of Holistical Method and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Unauthorized extraction or redistribution is not permitted.
11. Terms of service
The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Your practice with the app is self-directed.
12. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this policy as the app evolves. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
